21st century teacher

To be a 21st century teacher you always have to be up to date with the new technology. With all of today's technological advances we as teachers should incorporate technology in our lessons.with kids being bombarded with technology outside of school we should include it in out classroom.

The treasure I find in teaching is making a difference in a child's life. Great teachers set high expectations for all students. They expect that all students can and will achieve in their classroom, and they will never give up on them.

It helped me understand that you always have to surround yourself with good people that are going to help you be an effective educator. It also taught me that I have to stay away from walnut trees. Walnut trees are negative teachers that are not going to help me enjoy my career. As a future educator I want to become a marigold.

TAFE Competition

This year for TAFE, I am going to be in the competition for children literature, with my group members Isel and Mari. Going in to this competition I feel more confident in myself and in my work because I know what to expect.
